How long are consent records available in OptinStack, and what should we do if our audit policy requires a longer archive?

OptinStack retains consent records for 12 months on standard plans, using a rolling retention window and a short technical buffer before deletion. Removing old records does not disable the live Consent banner, Tracker blocking, or collection of new consent records.
If you need a longer audit or warehouse archive, configure Consent Forwarding so each consent event is also sent to an endpoint you control. Enterprise customers can discuss extended retention or custom storage terms separately.
