OptinStack is a consent management platform\. It captures visitor choices, gates trackers behind those choices, and records what happened\. It is important to be clear about where that scope ends\.

> **Warning:** OptinStack is not legal advice and is not a substitute for a privacy lawyer or a data processing agreement review. The consent records it produces are evidence of visitor choice, not a guarantee of compliance.

## What the consent records are for

The synced records show what each visitor chose, when, and whether Global Privacy Control was active\. They support your accountability obligations and your internal audits, but they do not by themselves make you compliant\. You are still responsible for the trackers you run, the data flows behind them, and the notices you publish\.

## What to bring to an advisor

For a real compliance review, bring your advisor the list of trackers you run, the categories you tagged them with, your banner mode per region, and a sample export of consent records\. OptinStack gives you the data; the judgment is yours and your advisor's\.

### Do OptinStack records make me compliant?

No. The records are evidence of what visitors chose. Whether that is enough depends on your trackers, data flows, jurisdictions, and notices, which a qualified advisor should confirm.

### Does OptinStack cover everything privacy for me?

No. It handles consent capture, tracker gating, and records. It does not draft your privacy notice, assess your data transfers, or replace a DPA review.
